Global partnership
It all began in 1992. Dutch breweries decided to only sell beer, but no longer lend out the cosy furniture that goes with it. Joris Bomers had the idea of renting out furniture and equipment for events. He came to Bocholt in North Rhine-Westphalia (Germany) and founded the company Party.Rent. It all began with a few hundred glasses and plates, 50 beer tent sets and 200 chairs – and an even bigger vision. It was the start of an impressive growth process: back in 2001, Bomers opted for the franchise model in order to enable constant strategic growth. The group of companies grew continuously. Today there are 26 locations in nine European companies. At the owner-managed locations, the independent entrepreneurs put everything into their work.

Over the years, not only have more locations been added, but also additional business areas. Today, the three divisions – Party.Rent, Fair.Rent and Office.Rent – operate under the common umbrella of Rent.Group. The portfolio and services have been further developed and optimised everywhere – whether for use at events, trade fairs or in the workplace. Today, Rent.Group is a leading facilitator of temporary ownership and circular utilisation in Europe.

As an important player in the event and trade fair industry, the Rent.Group is not only well networked within the industry, but also maintains a wide range of relationships with various branches of the industry, associations and local organisations.
As a partner and member of many of these institutions, we would like to contribute to the interests of the sector – actively and beyond purely business dealings. At national level, Rent.Group works together with the EVVC, fwd: and degefest. We are also represented internationally in the ILEA association.
The Rent.Group is also a committed member of various environmental and business associations. We work closely with B.A.U.M. on our environmental policy, a valuable partner who supports us in making our business practices sustainable and fit for the future.
In cooperation with TÜV Süd and Rheinland, we have completed the ISO 9001-2015 QM certification and have created and certified many of our own standardised processes. Sustainable and future-orientated corporate management is a fundamental part of our mission statement, which we proudly integrate into our daily work.
