Where It All Began
Bocholt is the birthplace of the Rent.Group. In 1992, the foundation was laid here for a company that now sets standards across Europe in the world of events and furnishings. Today, two people are helping to shape its future: Sebastian Banken and Koen Siemes.
The site serves as a key hub within the group’s network, with close ties to product development and logistics. As the founding location, it is strongly future-oriented and acts as an important source of momentum across the group’s diverse fields of development.
Sebastian Banken
Sebastian Banken has been with the group since 2005 and has experienced its evolution firsthand – from logistics and procurement to project management. Today, he brings this wealth of experience to the leadership of the Bocholt site and to the group’s overall product development. His focus: How can materials and design be made more durable, sustainable, and functional? How can quality remain part of a closed-loop system?
Sebastian designs our rental products from the outset around our circular-use processes — grounded in day-to-day practice to ensure smooth and reliable functionality.
Koen Siemes
Koen Siemes joined the Rent.Group in 2011 and has grown from a customer advisor to a partner. His working style is defined by clarity, close client relationships, and a pragmatic eye for what’s possible. Under his leadership, Bocholt continues to expand – into the Rhineland, the Ruhr region, and the Netherlands.
He understands the market, the needs of customers, and the impact of reliable communication. For Koen, entrepreneurial thinking is both a principle and a daily practice.
