Party.Rent becomes Rent.Group and expands its portfolio

Party.Rent is celebrating its relaunch in 2024: Founder Joris Bomers is handing over control of the company to his partners. In addition, new sites will be opened in Barcelona and later in Milan. Party.Rent is becoming Rent.Group, with three brands operating under its umbrella as detailed below.

For Party.Rent, Europe's leading event outfitter, 2024 has been a year of significant change: The partners are launching Rent.Group, taking the company into a new era. In summer 2024, they are adding the Office.Rent brand to the portfolio alongside the existing established brands Party.Rent and Fair.Rent. This move sees them forge ahead with their vision of a sharing society, taking the company's services beyond events and trade fairs and applying them to various professional working environments. The Office.Rent brand will provide temporary office equipment for a wide range of workplace environments, including those that have changing requirements.

Rent.Group now has three brands under its umbrella, and creates the foundation for the group's future growth and additional developments. There is still a clear focus on the values embodied by the partners and employees: clarity, helpfulness, passion, reliability and building trust both within the group and with customers are top priorities for Rent.Group.

Joris Bomers founded Party.Rent more than 32 years ago, starting out with just a few tables and chairs and operating from a location close to the Dutch border. Since then, the company has grown to become a leading event outfitter with 26 sites across ten European countries. Party.Rent has long been synonymous with unique furniture design that helps hosts to create distinctive events with an atmosphere that is conducive to communication. Thanks to the extensive product range, the team is able to offer customers maximum flexibility without tying up capital. The concept of sharing is always at the heart of the company's ethos.

Long-standing partnership

Joris Bomers established a circle of partners who over the years set up several branches. They will now follow in his footsteps. In March 2024, Bomers handed over Rent.Group to the partners, who have been successfully managing the group at their sites for years. The company's site in Bocholt, which was previously managed by Bomers, will continue under the existing local management team. The Rent.Group management team will now consist of Christian Eichenberger in Frankfurt as CEO and Charles Schroeder in Luxembourg as Deputy CEO.

Growth beyond Barcelona, Madrid and Milan

It already has sites in 26 locations, including Germany, Scandinavia, France, Austria and Switzerland. The partners recently opened a new site in Barcelona. This expansion into the Spanish market marks a milestone for Rent.Group. They will continue expanding into southern Europe next year with the planned branch in Milan, followed later by one in Madrid.
