Two major Swiss event experts are joining forces. Since 1 August 2024, Top Events Schweiz AG has been part of Rent.Group, which operates throughout Europe. Staff continue to serve customers under the extended brand TopEvents.Rent, offering them even more options for creating customised event concepts.

The owners of Top Events Schweiz AG, Célia de Castro and Thomas Eberle, are keen to retire from their company after 25 years. They have found the perfect new owners in Party.Rent Basel and Rent.Group Swiss, safeguarding the jobs of employees and ensuring that customers can continue to enjoy the company's services. Under the extended brand TopEvents.Rent and operating as Rent.Group Swiss BRN AG, the growth story will continue — as part of Rent.Group. The two owners are excited about what the future holds: "We are thrilled to know that our employees and customers are in safe hands. The takeover holds great potential for all Top Events Schweiz AG and Rent.Group Swiss stakeholders. The merger will significantly increase the portfolio, allowing customers to choose from even more options and products to create their customised occasions. Together, the companies will optimise customer service. Working as part of a larger group company, staff from all sites will share their experience and benefit from a wider pool of knowledge, both personally and from an organisational perspective. The resources and opportunities that come with being part of Rent.Group will also open up more roles and opportunities for advancement.

Both companies will grow as a result of the merger, gaining a broader range of experience, a larger product portfolio and geographic reach. TopEvents.Rent will be able to position itself even more effectively on the Swiss market. For Arlesheim-born Christian Eichenberger, CEO/Chairman of the Board at Rent.Group, it was particularly important for Top Events to remain in Swiss hands: "We are delighted that Top Events Schweiz AG, a Swiss company with a long history, is now part of Rent.Group. Promoting a circular economy

Both companies are industry leaders when it comes to the temporary use of event materials and to mobilising and boosting potential for a circular economy and resource conservation. Rent.Group is driven by its commitment to the future. Based on the "share.me reuse.me" principle, the company promotes transition towards a comprehensive, circular economy, during all service phases: product development and optimisation, circular use and recycling. Top Events Schweiz AG is involved in the local market and has played a leading role in sustainable building management for some years now, especially in the generation and use of energy. As an example, each year it produces more electricity than is required for operations from its photovoltaic system. The event materials available for rent also reduce the environmental footprint of the company and the industry. And with intelligent transport routes and route planning, CO2 emissions are kept limited too.
