As Managing Partner of Rent.Group Berlin/Leipzig, he understands not just the mechanics of logistics, but the emotions sparked by the right setting. Whether it’s a gala dinner or a street food festival, Stephan sees himself as a host—heartfelt, intentional, and always with a clear concept.
His journey began back in 2004 with Party.Rent—first as a customer. Inspired by the company’s spirit and the potential of its franchise model, he took over responsibility for the Berlin region in 2006. The rest, as they say, is history.

Berlin, as a European capital, is a cultural melting pot and political powerhouse. Leipzig, on the other hand, is an emerging hub of innovation with high quality of life and strong economic momentum.

Passion for Craft: Product Development and Design
As co-initiator and spokesperson of the Rent.Group working group on catering equipment development, Stephan leads the group-wide effort to push product innovation forward. Collaborating with clients, partners, and designers, his team doesn’t just follow trends—they set them.

Sustainability and Circular Economy
Stephan doesn’t just believe in circular thinking—he lives it. For him, sustainability isn’t a side note, it’s core to the business strategy. Instead of disposable products, he champions durability, thoughtful materials, and strong partnerships with manufacturers.
As an early participant in Berlin’s sustainability initiatives (including with visitBerlin), he’s been helping shape industry standards with practical criteria for years.
